An exceptional property with an equally exceptional host.We booked this property after having to leave a previous rental due to serious safety concerns, and what could have been an incredibly stressful situation turned into one of the most memorable and meaningful stays we have ever had.Shortly after booking, the host contacted us personally to explain that the reservation should not have gone through because the master bathroom was undergoing renovation. After we explained our situation—that we were in the area for volunteer work and had unexpectedly found ourselves without a safe place to stay—he showed genuine compassion and flexibility. Because the home still had 2.5 fully functioning bathrooms, it was more than sufficient for our needs, and he graciously allowed us to stay.From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was not just another rental property. The home was exquisite, immaculate, spacious, beautifully maintained, and full of character. The historical background of the property made it even more special, and the host personally came to meet us, welcome us, give us a tour, and share the rich history of the home.What made the experience truly extraordinary was the host himself. He has personally done much of the renovation work, and his care for the property is evident in every detail. Beyond being an outstanding host, he is also a remarkable person who gives back to the community.

It is a great property in a great location

Large bedrooms, huge kitchen for gathering, off-street parking. Worked wonderfully for our party of 8, 3 couples and two singles.

This property is great and in a lovely area of the city. Convenient location for getting downtown and the off the street parking is an added bonus. The dining room and kitchen is spacious to accommodate the larger amount of guests. Will be staying here again.
